For my Fall/Winter 2024 collection, Hug Me, I wanted to express my deep connection with trees. I’ve always felt a strong bond with them, believing that, like trees, we go through cycles of shedding, breaking down, and growing again. This constant transformation—growing, evolving, and thriving, while also breaking down and rebuilding—resonates deeply with me. In this collection, I aimed to capture the essence of nature’s cycles, reflecting how we are all intertwined with the natural world. Just as trees shed their leaves to make room for new growth, I too crave a life of continuous transformation, thriving in both the ups and downs.

I explored concepts like shame, judgment, vanity, envy, intention, unity, and humility—each word holding its own meaning and energy. As I created each piece, I spent time reflecting on these themes, listening to podcasts, music, and journaling to fully connect with them. Every design is a reflection of that inner exploration, a way of expressing the essence of those words through fabric and form.
